You never know what people need the cash for. I just went to my conveyancer today and handed over a bucket load of cash to buy a house. Was very tempting to sell some shares to cover this, but I managed some financial yoga, and kept a hold of my shares. We believe EXT will pay big, but if people need the cash now, what are they to do?
Then again, maybe they've just lost their stomach for shares over the last couple of months.
