i've only recently became aware that daryl guppy also uses a series of moving averages for his analysis - i started using them last year after a tip from someone who posted here (sorry - i don't remember who it was but i sincerely thank you). i've recently checked out how guppy configures his moving averages but i prefer mine to be honest - but the concept is the same. whatever works i guess.

i just noticed that guppy made an appearance on cnbc earlier this week and reviewed the nikkei based on his moving averages. thought you may be interested - as it's a similar setup on the spx.
