Can I just say that though I am not yet a contributor to this thread I am a regular reader and greatly appreciate all the insights, thoughts and interpretations that you regulars post. It's a great learning experience for me, and I'm sure for others.

Two things occur to me. If you all take your chat and your deliberations private and off HC, that would be a sad loss for the forum, though of course that is your prerogative as your interest is naturally maximising your own learning and profit rather than educating the masses!

Second thing is - while it's great to have other folk around to bounce ideas off, contribute research, chart anlysis etc., I don't see the personal growth in handing over responsibility for my trading to any other person or collective, however wise their posts may be. I'm not saying I can do better or know more than anyone else here, individually or collectively, but I think unless we're prepared to keep that final personal responsibility, we might as well be in managed funds.

So for me, it sounds like a good game, but I'd rather see the forum go on as it has been, and work up the knowledge and confidence to contribute myself as and when.
