I think you're right @ric45 - many Aus retail investors are spooked on cobalt.

However, if we 'follow the money', both in terms of GAL's investments (47% to Norseman), but also China's billions in Africa, and billions on the table from VW, BMW, Panasonic and the like, there's a very different story.

The unique thing with Norseman/Mt Thirsty (as a laterite) - Nickel is a very high proportion of revenue. So it's somewhat hedged. Check out recent spreadsheets on CNJ forum.

Certainly going to be interesting to see how this plays out. I may be a fool, but I think GAL is all about TheNorseman/Mt Thirsty resource.
