Whisky, this goes to the heart of the matter and was the main subject of conversation with another poster yesterday, i.e. WPL appear unable to proceed with internal approvals without clarity on lease ownership. The timeline for obtaining that clarity has now shifted considerably and if internal approvals are dependent on receiving that clarity, it leaves WPL in no-man's land with Senegal Government deadlines and elections looming. Before long, I suspect WPL may find themselves between a rock and a hard place. Something has to give, and all indications are that it won't be FAR. They have put a solid case before the arbiters (WPLs thoughts on the case are quite frankly irrelevant) and are under no pressure whatsoever. Funding options for SNE abound (wrong play PC!) and FAR's focus is currently where it needs to be - drilling our beloved SAMO, which has the potential to dwarf SNE and well... make PC look like a very small man indeed. Speaking of which...
