Yes, Prechter's performance has been miserable ever since the 87 crash. He was spot on for the low on the early 80's and actually told his subscribers to get out of stocks just prior to the 87 crash. However, he believed then it was the big one. So, yes he's missed the biggest bull market of the millennium. He can’t turn bullish now as he knows it’s too late. All he can do now is keep predicting the crash so that when it happens then he can feel good about it. He’s now saying it’s over and if he’s right he can feel good anyway. This is one reason why I’ve been put off EW – it’s too subjective and rear view mirror focused.
