While I'd agree about the tenor of the announcements as having come through the filter of a non technical person, and the use of in-house jargon without explanation suggests that, I still think the absence of bad news is good news. The announcements are not "fake news". They may represent a degree of spin, but if they had bad news they would be obliged to share it. And despite numerous setbacks the announcements always try to suggest that the development process is proceeding, if not according to plan, then at least in the direction of that plan. If this is the case then they are more likely than not to be having to simply plug away at the optimisation task to get the device to perform exactly as they want it to do, and this takes time. The problem is that extending the time undermines the confidence of anxious investors, especially those who think wishfully that their own agendas should determine the rate of progress, and not the actual facts of the situation "on the ground". This stock requires considerable patience and a degree of trust in the competence and integrity of the company's management. This is not "rose coloured glasses" thinking. For those who seem to suspiciously interpret every delay as further evidence of a conspiracy to defraud the investor I suggest that holding this stock may not be good for their health, and that it may be time to sell their holdings and find alternative investments. Such investors probably ought to match their stated holding sentiments to their commentary, or risk being suspected of down ramping.
