They covered it because they are the ABC and that is what they do.
Its like the Comminsure scandal was predominately regarding cover held within industry funds (which was underwritten by comminsure). Profit sharing arrangements between industry funds and comminsure were in place (incentive to decline/delay claims). Wont hear a thing about that in the ABC stories as its all 'big, bad banks' rhetoric.
Not that I like the banks, but its not a level playing field in the media.
