Monsoon trough is diminishing and current news is an early finish to the wet. Today started drizzly in Cairns with afternoon overcast and some sunshine. Ground on the hills I jog over is still mushy. The MKY contractors are intending to start drilling in April. I know the cattle station on which some of the tenements are situated and probably will go up in April working and will have a look about. The ringers there know nothing about MKY because I asked when I was up last month.
