    Enough of this river talk IMHO. This will only be viable if AVZ & partners operate the barge or vessel themselves IMHO. The river has at times has experienced flooding, requiring relief agencies to lend assistance. Refer to the Relief Web website for details which I have posted previously.

    The question is why did the Chinese group decide to refurbish the inland route Manono - Mitwaba - Bunkeya - Luambo in preference to upgrading the shorter Route Nacional N33 from Manono to Bukama, which utilizes a ferry crossing.
    No decision to replace the ferry on N33 with a bridge either, even though further upstream at Bukama there is a road bridge & a rail bridge.

    There is a reason why the Chinese group are doing this.

    To add insult to injury - the company keep harping on about this transportation issue (all investors in AVZ expect them to do just that, as normal due diligence) - which just leaves management and current investors, open to all kind of attack from non holders.

    As for BGS there seems to be no issue for them taking a longer shipping route from West Africa to China compared to AVZ shipping from Lobito, Angola. Go figure.....
