(Now we are speaking of a very pinpointed time here and as Jesus often spoke based around the Jewish Traditions, we know why he mentions the Day and Hour only).
Luke 12:37 - Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
1 Thes 5:6 - Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
Gen 1:14 - And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
Mark 13:28 - Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
So there we have a season as per the Gen reference and MY fig tree is shooting forth and summer is around the corner and had you taken notice, I myself have shot forth new leaves (originals ha), and no one can recognize them, they don't now what they should look like LOL!
We had the Jupiter/Virgo event Sep 2017 which I notice on the net, their still trying to work out what it means haha, so that is a Gen reference sign.

What more do you want?
There are lots of verses showing that we are to keep watch, if there was nothing to watch for, what are we supposed to be watching for and WHY if it doesn't matter?
So watching is part of your personal journey, which Jesus does say, if you want to follow him or be one of his disciples, then you need to put aside your personal journey, which lets get real, it's really only your birth or birth pains as to what's is on offer.
