It only means that the same broker had both the buyer and the seller. What you don't know is if there was a big buyer wanting the broker to buy some shares for them or a seller looking to get out. This is usually a good guide to the short term share price. On this occasion I know it was a buyer as I got a call from a broker looking for big lines of stock. The broker wouldn't give me any indication as to the buyer but I figured that the buyer wanted to buy several million as, in answer to my question as to how many they were looking for, I could have sold my entire stake if I wanted to.
