Aimee79 thanks for you comments, it sure has been a very long journey for me & a lot of us .
Things are moving forward quite well I am told & also from my research & contacts they are confirming this fact.
Fundamentals for this company IMO have not changed over the years with the exception of delution.
Unfortunately this has been the price we had to pay to survive to get were we are today.
I am aware of a article soon to be published in a Africian mining journal that things are all go with timeframes being set ,machinery purchase timeframes established .
As soon as the company IMO have completed all the necessary due diligence & are confident with what is needed they will announce to the market the projected timeframe.
IMO this is why we are waiting.
It also paints a very positive future for BSR.
Quotes....
"There is huge potential in West Africa, and some very large deposits.Randgold’sLoulo Mine is 14 million ounces, as is IAMGOLD’s Sadiala mine. Whilst our Makabingui resource is one million ounces, we have also drilled 8km south and there is gold all the way. Konkoutou could even be bigger.Wherever someone drills in the Birimian belt, they find gold. My prediction is that Senegal will follow Mali, which holds one third of the Birimian belt versus Senegal’s two thirds. This gold belt is likely to become one of the biggest gold belts in the world."

"At the moment, we are capitalised on the Australian market at about aAUS$40 million Australian dollar.I believe we can turn Bassari into another Randgold and bring its capitalization up to AUS$500 million to one billion. This should not be too difficult, because once we enter production we will bring in about US$100 million, which is about AUS$140 million. Once drilling has been completed, these reserves will also increase in size. The cost is about US$680 per ounce, while the gold price is about US$1200 per ounce. For a small company, this is a significant margin."
To meet the expected production period quoted in the article. IMO I believe that orders will need to be placed within the next 4 / 6 weeks.
Having said that IMO we must to be very close to the announcement we are all waiting for.
Please have more patience as things just take more time in this part of the world.
It was good to see Modou Gene Diop being appointed Director General of Makabingui Gold Operations Senegal
To see his impressive credentials see the LinkedIn web site.
I too get frustrated from time to time on how long this process has taken but this is one of the reasons why this fantastic opportunity stills exists . IMO I am sure the wait is going to be well worthwhile.
Cheers.
