One of the very good posts that we are priveleged to share on this forum suggested that 4 months after Gina's bid lapses she would be able to make a further bid for all or a portion of the shares that she doesn't own. If all or mainly what FMG are interested in is port access decisions regarding this may well be resolved within 4 months. In which case FMG would have secured what they wanted or been rebuffed and be ready to move on. In that case a knockout offer for FMG's blocking stake may well be attractive to FMG. I will take what FMG is offered but would prefer to go mining long term with Gina and FMG. It certainly is not a game for the faint hearted.
