Well spector, all we have to go on are the various ASX announcements and comments on BRR that have been made in the past.

Now JK has been fairly clear in indicating that the Chinese are interested in the FNQ projects and Burraga.

So we have to presume that they have picked up enough detail or information to be VERY interested.

Again one of those reports was translated into Chinese and sent off to China before the most recent visit. Now why do that if the Chinese were not interested in at least that project.

So no! It certainly isn't a case of Republic investing into the Chinese mining company. Absolutely not IMHO.

No it has to be that the Chinese are interested in what Republic has been dabbling in. As I say, maybe to some HC posters , the test drilling results do not look fabulous but maybe to the Chinese they have seen what JK has been on about in terms of there being something significant there below the surface, or that the early results are going to lead to much more significant results.

The base line at the moment is that the Chinese mining company is pretty interested and JK is very pleased.

Now we should not get carried away about the visit to China in a few weeks. While it is to talk about financial and technical matters it does not mean that the Chinese want to take over RAU. Far from it I believe.

It may be that the Chinese want to have in place an agreement to have the first option IF Republic proves up a significant resource of Tungsten (West Whumbal or wherever) or copper (Burraga). And they might be keen to help with the technical side of getting some of the mining equipment or whatever if it comes to that.
So it may be a very big "IF".

Now that scenario could be at the 'ho-hum' end of the spectrum. But what actually comes out of the meeting might be somewhere further along the spectrum than just "ho-hum".

We can only ponder and speculate at the moment. Keep pouring over the anouncements and trying to analyse them and tease something out of every word
