With all due respect to @sprininhetveld, I'm stunned this post has received so many TU's and has not been moderated for unsubstantiated information.
"Our management already has a buyer (if not buyers) lined up." Statements like this are the very definition of unsubstantiated and should only be made if confirmed by the company as
fact. This is a 'price sensitive' statement and it's careless to throw them around with gay abandon or to support ones opinion.
The original post drew this response from
@Freighter32.
"Yep, management confirmed at the AGM that they had interested parties chasing them so no doubt in my mind they are already in negotiations and have been for some time." Did Greg or James actually say that they are in negotiations with external parties to sell the Goulamina project? If this were true, I would view this as worthy of an ASX announcement - no? To the best of my knowledge, this sentiment has not been expressed by BGS management in any previous ASX announcement or corporate report/presentation. Perhaps Greg/James meant that they had interested parties for spodumene off takes. Sounds way more plausible to me.
The post above drew this exasperated post from
@Un1qu3Nam3.
"I'm out. Any company that is seeking to be taken over isn't serious about their operations and I've never seen a white knight come to the rescue as planned." I hope the above two posts are based in fact - if not, OP just sold on an incorrect opinion formed from a mangled message.
I'm not happy with BGS, not by a long shot. But this ^, doesn't help.
