I suppose I left out the most important thing.

No single indicator will give you the truth and all indicators will never agree.

I agree with some who say you can have too many indicators and that is surely the case when all use similar concepts such as momentum.

I probably have too many indicators although I don't always look for the same thing in each of them.

Years ago I tried to write combinations of indicators without much success.

Its probably time I tried again, but as much as I am a technical person, I can't deny that there is an element of feel, partly in general contrary sentiment but also in the mix of indicators that is difficult to weight on a consistent basis.

I think I can perfect it, just give me another couple of hundred years.
