Ignore the CRU work. It is a load of crap in my opinion. I just saw a document that suggests that there are currently up to 15 existing Chinese scandium producers with a combined capacity of up to 50 tonnes per year. On top of that Sumitomo now produce 7.5 tonnes and they have told me that they can go to 15 tonnes very quickly (just been reading their newly granted patent US9963762). The Russians are ramping up their production at Rusal (2 tonnes) and Intermix-Met. The Turks are keen to start producing (they have done all the pre-work) from the Gordes Ni-Co operation and their autoclave is already in production.
