To date, if you search 'scientific journals' to read reviews on current developments in intracellular delivery such as the 13 Aug 2018 released Membrane Active Peptides and Their Biophysical Characterization, you find no mention of Phylogica's cell-penetrating peptides. Though it's easy to find the mountain of press releases highlighting their CPPs but these aren't peer reviewed.
A peer reviewed publication shows their actual results. What works and what doesn't work and what credible methods gave the results.
Having their work published should open PYCs science up to any scientist around the world who is working in the same field or who is needing this technology to progress their own drug candidates. A lab somewhere may want to link PYC's CPP1746 to their drug molecule and test it, just like PYC did with Omomyc. A researcher reviewing CPPs may now include PYC's work. PYC can show potential partners that their work has been peer reviewed.
IMO this is the article that was delayed round NY and needed some further work. The further work possibly being the two previous peer reviewed articles. Both previous article's science is shown in this one.
