Hi my reasons were that Opes Prime came to me with very good recommendations and dealing with Laurie Eminee at Tricom he was excellent and I had no hesitation in using them . I should have seen the writing on the wall 6 months ago but will fight with tooth and nail to protect my investments . I feel that the other brokers financial institutions etc should intervene as this type of event could lead to Malcolm Frasers words many years ago when the Labour Party got in ( Put your monies under The bed ) I am not suggesting that this Labour Government has any faults in this . Maybe they will bring in more stringent rules regarding margin lending like Go and get your solicitor to explain your responsibility with this form of borrowing Cheers Towie
