Hi blueballs, I am not sure we will see any more or at least not many interest rate rises. In fact if the economy starts to look like it may slip into recession then interest rate cuts might be on the agenda - think this is a real possibility soon. However mate either way gold will go up for a while yet I think your money is as "safe as houses"...LOL.
