    I think both Rudd and Howard had a bit for everyone not just the fuddie duddies.

    Super is only ever going to be as good as the markets allow it be.
    I know a few people who were planning on retiring this year and now put those plans on hold.

    We are over taxed on super but that is not the only reason that there won't be sufficient funds to cover peoples retirements.

    Super contributions over 40 years will only get the average joe around $400k unless they salary sacrifice.
    Not much to live on for 20 or so years.
