thanks,i rang etrade margin lending,he said the same thing,i asked if they could put some info on there website to clarify if they short sell stocks held by us ,he said no they dont lend stocks out.my conern is if corruption by insiders cleaned out etrade,would they hold our stock like in opes crime.i dont know this answer
