I was in Budapest in 2001 and visited the Hungarian Parliament which was one of the most encompassing parliaments in the world during the Hungarian Empire days.
It had the statues of representatives of the 13 regions it controlled - from the Baltic to the Balkans - and as the guide was telling us - each regional representative could speak in his native tongue.
Now that's multiculturalism!
