It may be that this desire has been based on the good announcements to date.
It CANNOT be based on "something (as yet unannounced) is cooking and it's about to be announced" - this is the definition of insider trading - think illegal!!
So I don't wish to be dampener, but the buying tells me that Senex has NOT been approached with takeover offer.
The only things "cooking" are what have been announced - that is good enough for me to be positive on the SXY sp.

Directors can buy as long as it's not within a certain period of a major price sensitive announcement

It happens all the time and isn't illegal
