If director could not have foreseen the announcement today then his buying prior to the announcement is irrelevant. All shareholders were made aware that Menarini were in discussions however the timing of a decision was probably unknown to all except Menarini.
Director bought at prices above current market price and and anyone who took that as a signal to buy could have done the same. Good to see directors supporting their convictions.
