They have the same problem in the UK, particularly in London. Houses and rent too expensive for employees in the service industries as well as public service:police, teachers, nurces. The Govnt decided to lend 25,000 pounds to first home buyers in these fields because the shortage of these guys is puting into jeopardy all these services. Teachers, cops and nurses simply shift to the outer towns and villages.
I wonder if the same will happen here.
