I was referring to the fact that Santos have not directly stated or mentioned that they will be partnering with Carnarvon in the JV given their buyout of Quadrant. I find this a little unusual given Dorado is a major find and has helped propel the share price of Santos.

CVN have however mentioned even as recently today " that Santos recently announced their proposed acquisition of Quadrant Energy. We welcome them to the joint venture and look forward to working with their team, whom we know well."

There thus appears to be a difference in tone and approach from Santos - which other posters on hc have also picked up on - could well be a blessing as Santos may make a tilt for CVN in some regard ...
