I posted before on the on the low number of explorers who become successful miners which were pretty low - I in a hundred in that Australian survey put forward. I looked a bit further recently for overseas findings, Canada and the US and found Mining Markets Magazine came to this finding a few years back that “many investors consider junior exploration companies to be high-risk investments that are fraught with challenges and little chance of success. While it is true that the odds are against a company finding a mine (less than 1 in 10,000 by some estimates)”.
They did make the caveat that you don’t have to pick one of those few successful stocks to make enormous profits in the junior resource stock sector but if you do it is obvious the company is going to rise to a new level.
I don't know the accuracy level of their particular figures but the point is well taken. It again stands out that for a junior to become a cash producing miner is quite significant. Cabot saw the significance of our exploration position and funded our drilling with an off-take agreement. They have made available a US$4.8m loan interest-free on what they analysed with their professional experience and documented a term of 2 years to settle and obviously find more. That speaks volumes to me as they have a good idea what is down there.
GLAH and watch the crocodile moves.
