What would be a significant cost reduction. Dec qtr was 2.37, would $2 for current quarter be ok.

I hope the answer is yes because I dont expect it to be any lower than $2.

If you read the announcements they say they were planning on using 3rd part ore until at least mid feb so anyone who has a expectation costs will be much lower than this just means they just dont understand mining ramp up's

Costs will hopefuly be under $1.50 a pound by the dec qtr but not before.

For all those who are focused on costs should at least consider the fact th the coper price is up about 80 cents a pound since the start of january. That is a lot of extra profit . No one has mentioned this

What drives me crazy on this site is the expectation that if something does not happen every day, the something must be wrong.

The EBIT number of 50M is for the period july 1 2008 to june 30 2009 and I am confident they will achieve this result.
