That phrase "very soon" is the problem, you are making assumption, how do you know they are due very soon.
The holders do not want to sell as they feel that something big is coming. Top 20 hold over 73% and top 100 hold over 84% (I believe).
The buyers are not so sure, they are waiting to hear more. Some will be taking a punt but obviously not so many at this very moment.
There have been occasions recently where volumes moved up and I suspect this was the punters gambling that the news was just around the corner. Those guys are probably holders for now.
So, yes, everyone is waiting for further info.
When it comes we'll see how many take profits, how many ride it and how many come from all over the place to grab a piece.
