couldn't they not have sold their shares once they were given to them?
if these bonuses were essential to their retirement fund they should have cashed them in at $6+ and put the money in a secure high interest account or something similar.
they chose to hold on to them, and accept the risk that came with it.
i know it sounds harsh, but the world isn't always fair.
