800,000 MI unfortunately occur in US alone. I think CSL112, if effective will add to the quality of life of those who had one MI and have avoided another. In doing this great benefit to humanity, CSL's revenue will shoot up.
CSL112 is an infusion and statins are given by mouth. Intravenous prophylaxis has to compete really hard with a cheaper, non-biological, oral agent to gain foothold there. But that's just my thought..
