    Thanks @binwood. My last post on the PLS thread to clarify that comment. I am not questioning the cost estimate in the DFS at all, but I suspect the cost estimate is somehow tied to the 77% recovery assumption as well, when some of the other players are assuming around 80% or slightly higher in their DFS.

    I suspect to get the impurities out PLS probably need to do, for example, slightly more grinding and separation and treatment (ion exchange) than the norm (however defined) which also means you are likely to recover a little less spod than if you had lower impurities because of say extra grinding/crushing - i.e. it is lost in that process and not fully recovered when seeking to treat the waste in the process flow sheet before going to the tailings for example. Or another way to put it, if had slightly less impurities (and/or a slightly higher grade than 1.26% Li20 which is a good grade by the way compared to many of the other companies seeking to enter the space) you would even have lower unit costs than those reported in the DFS and probably a slightly higher recovery rate. Hope that makes sense.
