Its starting to dawn on me, with what little investing experience I have, that, it is perfectly reasonable to find yourself proven absolutely correct with regard to your past assessment(DYOR)of a company's future performance potential, i.e. what you believe will happen to a company, growth, earnings, profit etc, actual eventuates. And, that this performance will be duely recognised by its relative position in the market, the sp. And, and this is the crunch point, still be out of pocket!

or to put it another way...

"But,but,but I was right all along,... so how come I bloody hurt so much!!! Bloody market!!! Yer, my Bloody Blood!!".

Its all about the background (-the temporal combined market headspace), against which the subjects(the equities) of the painting, are set.

So whats the painting background right now,.... ever seen the aurora borealis / australis...I call it fluxing psychedelic....bloody confusing on the eyes and the old grey matter. I think I picked my painting subjects, just as the last background, that really nice shade of green, faded out.
My subjects looked really good against that background, lovely contrasts! Now...well...can't even see some of my picks,...they've just faded out almost completely, against this convulsing, acid derived, background.

Its probably all really obvious to some of you wiser owls, who have seen it all before, and have learnt how to continue to look at the painting, without feeling seasick, and puking. Pass me the pills please, I ain't one of them!

I still like the colour and shape and hue and tone and shading, of my picks, they WILL be next seasons colour...but, can someone tell me, when will we get they lovely green background colour again!?
