I've seen this comment a million times on LIC HC boards. I don't know the ins and outs - but you'll never ever see someone get stung for insider trading on a LIC so not worth stressing over. I'm sure there are black out periods stipulated by the ASX where directors can't buy shares, these will be adhered to, to the tee.
