I like the OIL, COPPER, IRON and longer term the Uranium and nickel etc, however imo COAL is the next THREAT to the sp.
Undertaxed (subsidised wrt oil/gas) dirty inefficient thermal coal will be under more than a spotlight.
Ironically it contributes insignificant profit to BHP, or RIO. Resources (miners, engineers, capital, equipment) better gradually redeployed into other higher margin commodities. Might even result in higher margin/more profit from the remaining thermal coal.
Nevertheless any threat to the coal market will effect BHP sp negatively short term.
