Look at 2017 (I know you do... and with a sad, wistful eye) and see how the share price jumped around. 2018 has been a horrible year for those looking for a quick profit. It may yet turn out all right for those playing a longer game. I suspect that the share price has been allowed to fall this low to allow for some significant purchases to be made (by a very few people) at a very low price.
I am suspicious that there is some good news coming that will benefit the major shareholders who will take the opportunity to cash out excess stocks before the price roller-coasters back down again.
Will it reach 2 cents again? Not, in my opinion, this year. But it might go, as others have wished for in recent months, up to 1.4 cents. This will allow some to get out with a small profit after everyone averaged down with the capital raisings.
I know the good news can't come soon enough for the options holders who are facing their expiry date, and I hope that the clouds clear on their horizon.
But what are you, as a shareholder, doing to boost the price? Waiting and complaining? It is about time some direct action was taken. Have a realistic look at what is going on and then think about things a little.
At the current price, no one is going to lose their shirt on PRL if they invest now, but they may multiply their investment four or five times (or more). Yes, they will have the advantage of buying when the stock is rock bottom (don't we all wish we had that opportunity). But their enthusiasm can help us all benefit. And even those who come in late and buy shares at (for example) 1.2 cents, could still make a quick 25-50% on their investment if there is enough going on.
Sounds like a pipe dream? Well, management have shown that they can engineer the price downwards (and like I intimate, is that a deliberate move?) but they can't see to get the bounce to happen. Well, that means it is up to us, the shareholders and owners of the company, to make a difference. And what's the worst that can happen? Surely our efforts to generate some sort of excitement can do no worse that management's.
I am now looking to make a positive difference to my investment. I am not waiting for anyone else in management to get out of their corner.
