    ASX queries Centro's 71pc share surge

    EMBATTLED Centro Properties has entered into a trading halt this afternoon after its shares soared over 71 per cent.

    The Australian stock exchange (ASX) regulator has questioned the company over its share prices.

    Shares in the company rose over 71 per cent by noon to 50.5c today after closing at 29.5c yesterday.

    The shares will not be traded until either normal trading begins tomorrow, April 4, or when the response is released.
