You have to wonder - how smart is this in view of ANZ`s reputational risk. Ignoring whether they are right/wrong by the letter of the law. The damage to their public image (especially now that so many punters trade shares - and hear all about this - and spread the word to their friends), may come back to bite them on the heinie...

This has the makings of a PR disaster - begging the question (if this IS ANZ`s selling)... Is there some kind of other elephant in the ANZ room with Opes??? In the face of all the bad publicity they still stay the course...
