Why the angst?

It was the end of August 07...a volatile period perhaps made more so on the back of a few traders like me?

Simple 95% LVR, 0.125% brokerage (since reduced to 0.1%)...and turnover of about $48m over 30 or so trades.

The whole thing was run on about $250k tipped in from me, over just a few days and was something of a test case on my part to see how one might trade such stocks on leverage.

I think I was attracted to a corporate play...share buy-back?

Although profitable, the whole thing scared the hell out of me...as I could see it didn't need much to go wrong for it to turn badly against you and there had been some pretty big swings at that time.

This experienced put me off the idea of using CFD's for such trading...in retrospect, I suggest it was not a bad idea.
