It's funny how ANZ say they need to recoup there losses yet in this case you have a director who says I owe you $576,000 take it and give me back my shares.
But no, they want to sell all his shares to pay for the stuff up of other clients who borrowed a ridiculous 95% against speculative shares.
So ANZ, I take it if a lot of your mortgaged clients defaulted all at once, and you sold their properties and it did not cover the debt can you guarantee you will not sell my house as well to recover the losses of your loans, even though I can pay the mortgage off.
I understand the above example is not exactly the same due to ANZ deals going through OPES as one client, but I bet they knew if Opes went down that the above example will be how investors shares would be treated.
It is despicable that this was allowed to happen and I will not be bagging JT for this rort, because now I even question the fine print of my simple CFD trading account.
