Ah wre - are sure they have to take the oppies ?

I mean the oppies are not part of the deal until someone fronts up with the 2.5 cents and converts into head shares.

I stand to be corrected on that but my reading of it is that the oppies are just that. They are Options. Theoretically they are not shares in the company until converted.

The fact that someone may have a million RAU Options does not mean that the company offering the takeover has to offer a special price fopr the oppies.

If the person with the million oppies decides not to convert (for some odd reason) then the takeover company is going to save themselves some money.
