I think what wotsup is saying as per a Biblical interpretation, is that those 3 different "things" are not the Trinity doctrine which specifically states those as 3 equal aspects of the One Godhead and 3 distinct "persons". Albeit I don't think the term "person" in this case, is the conventional meaning.
In other words, just because there are 3 things does not equate them as support for the Trinity doctrine.
With the advent of Soothsayer, there now appear to be on HC, at least 4 different "Christian" views of this trio.
1) The conventional Trinity doctrine where the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit are all co-equally but distinctly as separate "persons", THE God.
Not surprisingly, this is incomprehensible to normal Human understanding.
2) The JW version where there is only one God, Jehovah, His son Jesus, also a God and/or Archangel but not THE God and God's separate but integral Spirit/energy used for various interactions and work in this Universe.
3) God and son Jesus are both THE God but the Holy Spirit is not a distinct "person" perhaps more or less as per the JW view.
4) The wotsupian view where there is only one THE God with His Spirit not separate but just part of Him, used for various interactions and bestowings as needed and His son Jesus who is a God and also a man but not an Archangel, and also not THE God.
As an aside I can't really see much difference regards the Holy Spirit in any of the last three but at least two of them seem to feel there are significant differences.
Probably that attempt to summarise those different versions is wrong in some aspects, but it highlights the unfortunate and strange situation that there is not even agreement on such a core and basic belief among Christians themselves.
Not surprising Christianity has always been fertile ground for disagreement and violence between those professing to follow the same faith, let alone against those who follow other beliefs.
