A former staff member suggested that GP did not make the decision to leave … it was made for him.
Most likely an internal move against the Mac Equity influence … hence the departure of Terry Walsh (a dedicated ME pigeon) on the same day.
If it is an attempt to loosen the Mac Equity grip, I am more than happy with their departure and his selling - ME have never shown themselves to be concerned about shareholders' interests (except for their own).
I have to say, the company appears to be doing very well without them - the past few months have been stable, productive and well presented from my point of view.
