I would think the Asians and other gold buyers will not allow the gold price to sink very low, They surely must be wishing to get out of dollars and into other far safer investments including the obvious, gold. It could be a huge East-West tussle on gold. I know who I would put my money on. I expect gold to reach $A1,000 again before long. Australia's future fortune lies with the East. We need to remember that. We need to loosen our ties with the fading old empires. The RBA doesn't think we'll follow America into a recession. Why on earth should we? We no longer depend on the USA or Europe for our prosperity.
