    s8,

I believe the song Amazing Grace was written by a Slave Trader who found salvation in Christ.

Have seen drug addicts, including alcoholics, heroin addicts, set free instantly.

Sharetrading is also addictive, gambling is addictive, we all need to watch that in ourselves, especially if loved ones trusting in us end up having to walk in the manure we drop behind.

I am overweight, have seen the ravages of diabetes in my family, leg ulcers, failing eye-sight. Years ago, before we made it "easier" for ourselves, food consumption was balanced by more exercise, kids played outside for hours on end, people ate dripping (lard, fat) on bread and were thin.

Sadly, part of this whole thing is still about greed. Greed in consumption and greed because the suppliers know it works. What's a well-known drink with sugar, caffeine that you can sell through your shop, acts as a good de-greaser when swilled with salty, fatty food? You can even get a free fridge (hired out at a nominal rate) to load up the shelves with this and other sugary drinks. The caffeine containing ones turn over the best. If you don't sell that drink and there is competition nearby, the customer is very likely to go down the road.

Capsaiceine(spelling?) is, apparently, the addictive ingredient in chile peppers and such. Once you "get a taste" for it, you want it more and more, more of it, more often. "Spicy this" "Spicy that"......now there is spicy chicken, etc...

Look at many rich buggers who make their money out of grog, gambling, "Coca Cola", isolated sharetraders on their computers.........

Of course, sex can be a very enslaving appetite for those ensnared by excessive desires in that area.

Obviously, we need to look after our bodily temples... geez, I should go and do some exercise, get off this computer more often, stop gambling in the sharemarket, stop looking at inappropriate sites,..... hmm, maybe go buy some junk food, grab my 4th coffee for the morning... oh no.....

Crikey, what "sentiment" to pigeon-hole? "BUY" good things, "SELL" good things, or carry on regardless....?
