The only problem with theories is they usually get disproved as we apparently gain a better understanding. Mind you the same thing usually happens to the next theory and the next etc. Personally I wish human beings would realise they are very small and insignificant creatures that just won't work out the mysteries of the universe.

For example do I care what or how a black hole works? No. Did I care about how lightning was generated in a cloud? No. Which by the way was supposed to be a scientific fact from memory until they apparently worked out the answer was right but the data was wrong...lol. Now we have a new Scientific law from memory.

I do care about us investing our time in ways to cut down on polution or increasing food production to feed the starving. Perhaps scientist should worry about these things first, fix up our own problems before we decide we are God. Funny but global warming seems to have been happening from the beginning of time as has global cooling so why are we worried now? Doesn't that suggest it is natural? Or is there no money in natural?
