    Moondoong, even if the Opes customers signed their shares over, ANZ's rights over those shares are still governed by the terms of the contracts between Opes and the customer and any contract between ANZ and the Opes customer. Signing them over doesn't necessarily give ANZ the right to dispose of them as they please, they are still subject to the terms of the agreement under which they were signed over.

    Are you sure the court doesn't have any doubt - I thought in one of the articles you posted the reason the judge allowed ANZ to sell, was because they could easily buy them back if they were found not to have the right to sell them (although if they're found to have sold 15m BMN without the right to do so I'd like to see them try to buy them back without sending the price through the roof).
