not a hope, the arkaringa basin is under the great artesian basin sandstone beds. they would have to dewater that before getting into an open cut or underground. the only possibilities for this coal is for underground coal gasification as the linc energy JV or with the Eastern satr Jv for coal seam methane. still both have to deal with lots of hot GAB water.
